The time of year has come again when we all begin to decide which conventions we will attend during the coming year. I wanted to make sure you are aware that MOBICON XIII will be May 14-16th, 2010 and we have begun registration for the Merchants’ Room. MOBICON is the premier sci-fi / fantasy / anime / gaming convention on the Gulf Coast.
We were able to donate $4500.00 to the Bay Area Food Bank. This is our larges donation ever! One group of gamers brought in a huge amount of non-perishable food items that went directly to the Bay Area Food Bank during the convention.
You can secure your place for the coming year by registering now. We will put your name on our website for early advertising and will put a link to your site in exchange for ours on your site. In addition, this year we’ve also implemented additional advertising with banner purchases on our website. Our table rate has gone up from $70.00 to 85.00 per table/space which is 6 feet by 3 feet 2 inches (table) or 6 feet x 5 feet (space).
Enclosed you will find a Registration Packet and a layout of the Merchant’s Room. We already have pre-registered Merchants for MOBICON XIII and their places have been marked on the layout. Simply make your selection and mail back all the completed forms today to get your first choice of location. Thanks to many of you, we had a highly successful, diverse Merchant Room last year and we look forward to doing it again next year.
