I am interested in being a merchant at the next Mobicon. I have downloaded the “Merchant’s Package” to have a look see. Unfortunately, when it comes to downloading the “map” of the merchant’s room I only get a blank page.
I have a few questions one of which might best be answered if I provide more information about what my “product” is. I am a costumer.
I see that you provide tables, great, but the amount of physical space provided to each merchant would be a better way for me to calculate how I can set up my wares. I would be able to place some items on a table, but for the most part I would need to use clothing racks of some sort. Just how much space would I have available to me?
How far in advance do I need to “book” a space?
How is sales tax handled if I don’t myself have a business license for the city and or county of Mobile?
I have been costuming for individuals for many moons now, however I have never done a “con” before and I’m sure I’ll have many more questions about the logistics in the future. Thank you in advance for your attention.
